Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team.
As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general ledger reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support corporate finance initiatives
- Assist with financial audits and provide necessary documentation
- Utilize accounting software to record transactions and generate reports
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- Licensced Certified Public Accoutant
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software (e.
g.
, QuickBooks, SAP)
- Experience with double entry bookkeeping and financial statement preparation
- Solid understanding of budgeting processes and financial forecasting
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
- Strong financial acumen and ability to interpret data for decision-making purposes
- Knowledge of corporate finance principles and practices
- Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements
- Previous experience in financial auditing is a plus
