Veterinary Receptionist

Responsibilities: - Greet and check-in clients and their pets - Schedule appointments and manage the veterinary clinic's calendar - Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from clients - Maintain accurate records of client information and pet medical histories - Assist veterinarians with various procedures, such as animal catheterization and laboratory tests - Provide support in animal restraint during examinations or treatments - Administer medications or treatments as directed by veterinarians - Educate clients on pet care, including nutrition, vaccinations, and preventive measures - Keep the reception area clean and organized Requirements: - Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care facility is preferred - Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to handle dogs and other animals with care and compassion - Proficiency in animal restraint techniques - Basic understanding of laboratory procedures and equipment - Familiarity with dog training techniques is a plus - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills We offer competitive pay based on experience.
