Nexus Therapy is now hiring for a full-time school psychologist position working on-site with a great school district near beautiful Sanford, North Carolina.
This position pays $75 per hour and you can bill for 8 hours per day worked! You'd be working with students in grades preK-12 with a variety of needs.
```Duties:```
- Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Provide counseling and support to students dealing with social, emotional, or behavioral issues
- Assist in the development and implementation of school-wide programs to promote positive mental health and well-being
- Conduct crisis interventions and provide support during emergencies or traumatic events
- Monitor student progress and make recommendations for interventions or additional support as needed
```Experience:```
- Master's degree in School Psychology or related field
- North Carolina state certification or license as a School Psychologist
- Knowledge of assessment tools and techniques used in evaluating students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning
- Familiarity with special education laws and regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, teachers, and other professionals
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in working with sensitive student information
