Cardiology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in Central North Carolina
Award winning medical system in the Southeast is recruiting for an experienced Cardiology APP to serve the needs of the Scotland County community.
FirstHealth of the Carolinas – a private health care network serving the mid-Carolinas – has partnered with Scotland Healthcare System to provide cardiology coverage in Laurinburg, NC.
About the Position:
Collaborate with regional cardiologists to provide inpatient care at, Scotland Memorial Hospital.
Treat patients at FirstHealth’s cardiology clinic in Laurinburg 1 day/week.
Enjoy a dependable schedule – day shifts with very limited weekend/holiday support.
Be a member of the FirstHealth Physician Group, a team of 350+ hospital-employed providers.

Candidate Qualifications:
NP must be a graduate of a Nurse Practitioner Education program and have national certification.
PA must be a graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program and have NCCPA certification.
Prefer 2+ years of advanced practice experience Cardiology.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, and discretion in decision making.
Clean background, NC licensure, NC DEA, and AHA BLS certification required.
ACLS preferred.
